Wire and paper sculpture by day,
eerie lanterns by night

Tim started the Twilight Zoo as a novel Halloween decoration for the kids.  He made four hooded ghouls out of wire and paper and hung them in the trees so that they would move in the breeze.  He was amazed to find that he had made a big hit with the locals!  Every year since, Tim has added to the Zoo collection and as the menagerie increased, so have the number of people travelling to see them.

Over the years, Tim's wire and paper sculptures have become a regular part of the Elora landscape every fall.  He loves to hear kids go by shouting... "Awesome!"   Known as the Monster Guy, he's really a fine artist, painter with a great sense of humour and community.

In 2011, Tim and his partner Julie Denneny (the Monster March Parade Marshal) started the Scare Fair, it is a weekend of creative halloween thrills, chills, vendors, food and fun that invites other community groups to work in conjunction with the Twilight Zoo. The first year was a huge success with over 3,000 folks attending and which enabled Tim & Julie to donate $5,000 to the Elora Centre for the Arts as a fundraiser agreement for hosting the Scare Fair on their grounds.

Look for more Twilight Zoo fun in future years and join in if you dare!!
